我有一個夢想

​

很小的時候，我還記得我們從學校出發，要走過很大的一片農田，還有很長的石子路，來到幾公里外的小鎮上看電影。

​

我不是出身在農村，而是中國最繁華的大都市——上海。

​

那是七十年代的上海，我們對於文學和電影的渴望就像嗷嗷待哺的孩子。哪怕放映的是看了幾十遍都能跟著念下一句台詞的《小兵張嘎》《鐵道游擊隊》，都是我們最幸福的時光。

​

後來我們長大了，能看到《簡愛》《孤星血淚》《悲慘世界》《基督山伯爵》了；再後來我們有了年輕的期待，也看到了老一輩電影人的碩果累累：《芙蓉鎮》《活著》《霸王別姬》.....再後來，自己也成了“上海第一屆國際電影節”的見證者，再再後來，好萊塢大片，香港電影，韓國電影，台灣電影......

我總覺得，最好的華語電影時代還沒有來到。但如果能在我們這一代人手上變成現實，那真的很棒。所以我們這一群不信邪的人準備火力全開，看看憑藉著情懷和熱愛到底能不能為華語電影推波助瀾。

這就是Dragon Tales Foundation的由來。是我們一群熱愛電影，尤其是華語電影的專業或非專業的人們盡一己之力為同樣熱愛電影有創作願望和才能的您搭建的一個平台。

I Have a Dream

 

When I was very young, I remember setting out from school, crossing vast farmland and walking along a long gravel road to reach a small town several kilometers away to watch a movie.

​

I wasn't born in a rural area, but in the bustling metropolis of Shanghai, the most prosperous city in China.

 

It was Shanghai in the 1970s, and our longing for literature and movies was like that of hungry children. Even watching movies like "Little Soldier Zhang Ga" and "Railroad Guerrillas," where we could recite the lines along after seeing them dozens of times, was our happiest time.

 

As we grew up, we were able to watch "Jane Eyre," "Lone Star Blood and Tears," "Les Misérables," "The Count of Monte Cristo," and later, we had youthful expectations and saw the achievements of the older generation of filmmakers: "Hibiscus Town," "To Live," "Farewell My Concubine"... Later still, we became witnesses to the "Shanghai International Film Festival," and even later, Hollywood blockbusters, Hong Kong films, Korean films, Taiwanese films...

 

I always feel that the best era for Chinese-language cinema has yet to come. But if it could become a reality in our generation, that would be truly wonderful. So, our group of unyielding individuals is ready to go all out, to see if our passion and love can make a difference for Chinese-language cinema.

 

This is the origin of the Dragon Tales Foundation. It is a platform built by us, a group of professionals or amateurs who love movies, especially Chinese-language movies, to contribute our efforts to those of you who share the same passion for filmmaking and have the desire and talent to create.
