Youcai Yang

Youcai Yang is a psychology professor specializing in cognitive neuroscience, with a focus on the neural mechanisms of emotional disorders such as anxiety and depression, treatment of childhood anxiety, cognitive functions, AI clinical psychological diagnostic tools, and the development of AI-based emotional databases. He is the section head and author of the ‘Mental Health’ component in the national compulsory education textbooks ‘Physical Education and Health’ (East China Normal University edition) for grades 1-9, as well as the author of ‘The Neural Mechanisms of Adolescent Anxiety and Sports Interventions’. He has appeared as a guest on various programs, including CGTN's ‘China 24’, ‘Five-Star Sports’, Zhihu's ‘Gao Kao Xiao Wang Shu’, and ‘Tianmu News’. In addition to being a psychology professor, he is also a film producer, director, and screenwriter. While pursuing his Ph.D. in the United States, he founded the film company Youcai Pictures, where he directed and produced over a dozen TV commercials. He served as one of the VFX producer for the Hollywood films ‘Boss Level’ and ‘The Last Day of American Crime’, and produced the Milwaukee Film Festival Jury Award-winning film ‘Scott Road’. He was also the producer, director, and screenwriter of the TV series ‘F34rless’, and producer of the educational interview show ‘Cai Fang’. Furthermore, he acted in the American film ‘Snapshot’. His passion for filmmaking has led him to apply psychological techniques such as eye-tracking to improve film production quality and audience emotional experiences, creating innovative behavioral and neural evaluation standards for film quality. He has extensive experience in film production both in China and the U.S.

杨有才是一位认知神经学领域的心理学教授，主要研究焦虑抑郁等情绪障碍及其神经机制、儿童焦虑症治疗与认知功能、AI临床心理诊断工具及AI情绪库构建。国家义务教育教科书《体育与健康》（华东师范大学版）1-9年级《心理健康》板块负责人及作者，《青少年焦虑的神经机制与运动干预》作者等，CGTN《China 24》新闻直播、《五星体育》、知乎《高考笑忘书》《天目新闻》等节目嘉宾。 他除了是位心理学教授，更是一位影视制片人、导演和编剧。在美国攻读博士期间建立影视公司Youcai Pictures，导演并制作了十多部电视广告，担任好莱坞电影《Boss Level》《The Last Day of American Crime》特效制片人、密尔沃基电影节最佳评委会奖获奖影片《Scott Road》（施高塔路）制片人、个人IP改编的美剧《F34rless》制片人、导演、编剧，教育访谈节目《才访》制片人，参演美国电影《Snapshot》等影片。对影视的热爱让他将眼动追踪等心理学技术应用在提高电影制作质量及观众情感体验领域，创建了全新的电影质量行为和神经评价标准，拥有较丰富的中美电影制作经验。
